Henry H. “Hank” Steadman, 63

Henry H. “Hank” Steadman, Jr., 63 of Middleburg, FL passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at his residence. Hank was a native of Jacksonville and lived most of his adult life in Florida including the past 25 years in Middleburg. He was a meat cutter in the commissary at NAS Jacksonville for the past 43 years. Mr. Steadman helped coach both baseball and softball at Middleburg Athletic Association and enjoyed hunting, listening to music especially Jazz and just sitting around a fire or by a fireplace. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Mr. Steadman was preceded in death by his father, Henry H. Steadman, Sr. and is survived by his wife of 31 years, Peggy Steadman, son, Ryan Steadman, daughter, Megan Steadman, mother, Ellen Steadman, brother, James (Jessica) Steadman, two sisters, Michelle Hall and Colleen (Bill) Schwarz and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
