Henry Ellison Jones, Jr. US Navy (Ret.), 59

Henry Ellison Jones, Jr. US Navy (Ret.) 59 of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020.  Mr. Jones was born in Silver Creek, New York to the late Henry E. Jones, Sr. and Betty Jane Solburg.  He grew up in Angola, New York and began a 20 year career with the US Navy that would take Henry throughout the world to places like Greece and Spain until his retirement in 2007.  Henry moved to Middleburg in 2002 and developed friendships that he would consider “like family”.  Following the Buffalo Bills, NASCAR, anything GATORS, and enjoying music were a few things Henry enjoyed.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Heller and is survived by his sons, Ian (Kristy) Schroeder and Shawn (Samantha) Schroeder, sisters, Cindy Smith and Sandra Ellis, brothers, Scott Jones and Earl Jones, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In following with Mr. Jones’ wishes, there will be no formal service.
