Gary Jason Everett, 49

Gary Jason Everett, 49, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, to Virginia and Robert Allen Everett.  Gary spent the entirety of his life in north Florida.  He was proud of his work as a Technical Director in the sports media industry.  He enjoyed the fast–paced work, and the ever–changing environment kept him interested and always doing something new.  In his personal life, he was very close to his family, including his son, King.  He enjoyed family vacations, but especially loved traveling with his son.  They visited many destinations, such as Yellowstone National Park and New York City.  He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and watching movies. He was also a person who enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was golfing, hiking through national parks, or enjoying the beach.  Gary will be deeply missed by those whom he loved the most. 

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen Everett, Sr. 

He is survived by his mother, Virginia H. Everett “Ginger”; son, Alastair “King” Everett; brother, Robert Allen Everett, Jr. “Allen”; nieces, Crystal “Crissy” Everett Peterson (Bradley), Kayla Everett, Sarah Everett Brown (Will); and nephew, Anthony “Tony” Everett. 

A celebration of life will be planned for the near future.  More information will be provided at that time.
