Frank E. “Chip” Putnam, II, 50
Frank Eugene “Chip” Putnam, II, 50, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. Chip was born in Pensacola, FL and moved to Green Cove Springs twenty years ago after spending many years in Naperville, IL. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Northern Illinois University and pursued his MBA at University of Phoenix. In his younger years, Chip was an avid kite-flyer and enjoyed boating and fishing on his boat. In spite of his many disabilities, Chip thoroughly enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He will be missed by too many to count.
Chip is survived by his loving parents, Frank E. and Jackie Putnam; his wife, Tina Putnam; one son, Frank E. Putnam, III; two daughters, Rileigh Putnam and Candice Cook; one sister, Erika (Jeff) Kinney; four nieces and nephews, Grace, JT, Kaitlyn, and Adam; and one grandson, Daniel Putnam.
Funeral services will be held at 5pm Friday, April 26, 2019 in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest with Chaplain Reese Edwards officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior at 4pm. The family is accepting flowers or donations in Chip’s memory to NAMI, donate.nami.org.
