Dolores “Jeanne” Gaither, 63

Dolores “Jeanne” Gaither, 63 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Jeanne was born in Lynwood, California, lived in Missouri and moved to Florida in 2015 from Memphis, TN. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church of Memphis. Her life focus was her family and being involved in their lives. She loved being at the beach, dancing, watching movies, shopping, and in general being silly. Jeanne will be dearly missed by her family and her dog, “Jade”.

Mrs. Gaither was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Gaither, brother, Richard Hanson and sister, Marilyn Behymer. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Duffield, Deanne Zell, Andrea Murillo and Crystal Addison, mother, Wilma Hanson, brothers, Steve and Donald Hanson, sister, Judy Klimek, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 9, 2018 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest, visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM prior to services on Monday. Burial will be at 2:30 PM Monday in Jacksonville National Cemetery.

My God, we will miss you so much, Jeannie! I’m so happy you are at peace and have no pain. I will think of you often and just smile. You were one of a kind. Kind, loving, gentle and forgiving. Rest well, my favorite sister in law.

I miss my grandmother so much !! She gave anyone in need the shirt off her back !! She was a great person and everyone loved her for her witty jokes and smile ! She knew how to light up a room with her humor. She is missed by many and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for me! I miss all of our shopping sprees together and think about her everyday.
