David Marshall Thompson, 56

David Marshall Thompson, 56, of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024.  David was born in Jacksonville, FL to Marian DeRay Thompson and the late John Wallace “Wally” Thompson and was a lifelong resident of Florida.  He was the second oldest of four children and was known as “Peabody” to many of his friends and family.  He spent his working years with his father in the family company, Economy Water Conditioning Co. in Middleburg, FL.  David was able to do installations, service, and sales as part owner of the company.  He was very outgoing and an extrovert which led to him being well-known and well-loved by many.  Most of all, David dearly loved his son, Levi, and would do anything for him.

David was preceded in death by his faither, John Wallace “Wally” Thompson.  He is survived by his mother, Marian DeRay Thompson; one son, Levi Thompson; one brother, Randy Thompson; two sisters, Debra Sloan (Lorne) and Sherri Davis (Shawn); three nephews, Patrick Davis (Mayce), Corbin Davis, and Luke Sloan; as well as many extended family members.
