Darlene Alliemay Wood, 77

Darlene Alliemay Wood, 77, of Middleburg, FL passed away August 17, 2020.  Darlene was born in Morristown, Minnesota to the late Albert and Agnes Wood.  She moved to Florida over 40 years ago after her nursing career took her to Maryland and Kentucky.  Darlene put herself through nursing school and accrued many years of experience while working in hospitals and hospice at NAS JAX.  She was a Christian and loved the Lord.  Darlene loved animals and rescued many, giving them a much better quality of life.  She enjoyed spending time with her three horses and three cats.  Traveling and experiencing new places was a favorite thing for Darlene.  She gathered many friends over the years through her nursing career and her neighborhood.  Darlene was a very giving, helpful, fun-loving and great friend to many.  She was loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Agnes Wood; and her half-sister, Mary Larson.  She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Clark; as well as many other family members and friends.
