Daniel Greene Miller, 60, of Middleburg, Florida, peacefully passed surrounded by family on September 25, 2024 following a short and courageous battle with Glioblastoma. He will be remembered as a friend, husband, brother, Dad, PaPa, uncle, boss, father in law, and an avid Gator fan!

Daniel was born in Jacksonville, Florida on April 1, 1964 to Donald and Virginia. He joined his 3 sisters: Gloria, Gwen, and Zoe. He spent his childhood in Jacksonville and enjoyed playing football and baseball. He met his future wife, Penny, while both in middle school (and they later married in 1990). In 1989, Daniel and Penny moved to Middleburg, Florida and built a life for them and their 2 daughters. Many fun times, laughs, and great memories were made that will be cherished forever.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Miller and Virginia Mercer; Father in Law and Mother in Law, Jay and Marjorie Harrison; sisters Gloria Gremillion and Gwen Ethridge; and sister in law, Terri Tedford.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 34 years, Penny Miller, sister Zoe Petty, daughters Ashley McRae and Tiffany Gaither (Aaron); 6 grandchildren Madison, Peyton, Cameron, Kalynn, Caleb, Carter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Daniel will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, his one liners, the ability to make friends everywhere he went, being the life of the party, his generosity, his loyalty to Gator football (even in the rough seasons!), his unconditional love for his family and unwavering support. The world is definitely much dimmer with him gone, but we are comforted in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Russell Haven of Rest. A memorial service will begin immediately follow at 11:00 AM.

Arrangements are under the care of Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery, Funeral Home, and Cremation Center, 2335 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Family and friends may share their condolences at www.RHRFH.com or by calling 904-284-7720
