Clifford Dennis O’Shields, 76

Clifford Dennis O’Shields, 76, passed away surrounded by his family on September 18, 2021 in Middleburg, FL. Clifford was born on December 26, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland to parents, Audrey Thomas and Clifford O’Shields. He was married to his wife of 48 years Yvonne Baldwin and together they had two sons Chris and Sean. Clifford was a family man who understood the value and love of his family. He loved his boys and loved watching them grow up and playing sports. You would find him at any event that his family was a part of, from football games to track and field events, he loved to be there and support those that meant the most to him. He also had a love of cars and going to car shows. He was especially meticulous about detailing his own cars; it was a true passion for him.

Clifford was a man of great faith and while still living in Pineville, North Carolina he was a member and Deacon at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church for 12 years until he and his wife moved to Florida in order to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Clifford had a long and successful career, part of which included seven years of service in the United States Air Force, and then working forty plus years as a Site Engineer, most of which he worked for James McGovern and Associates.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents Audrey and Clifford J. O’Shields. He is survived by his wife Yvonne A. O’Shields; two sons, Chris O’Shields (Micah) and Sean O’Shields (Lisa) ; and two grandchildren, Connor O’Shields and Colin O’Shields.
