Clark Virgil Paris Jr., 78 of Orange Park, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He was blessed in his final days to be cared for by the extraordinary staff at Ascension St. Vincent Clay.

Clark was a Christian dedicated to Christ and trusted Him for guidance with his life.

Clark was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Earline and Clark V. Paris Sr. He was a proud graduate of the University of Alabama and a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Clark’s professional career took him to the Jacksonville, Florida area in the early 1980s with his wife Marga, where he moved to their current community of Orange Park. He was dedicated to being a part of his community and helping in any way he could and served on his neighborhood HOA for a time. He truly loved his neighbors and friends.

Clark spent his professional career in the Financial Planning and Insurance industry. He was known for his dedication to his business and commitment to serving his clients with integrity and care. He worked with several great companies throughout the years, MetLife, Security First, and then retiring from Ameriprise. During his career, he led and mentored many other financial analysts and obtained many top-level successes within his industry, including being in the President’s Club and the Diamond Club. Clark wanted those close to him to know how much he appreciated them and how they helped him reach his goals and achievements throughout his career.

Outside of his career, he enjoyed spending time with his wife of 55 years, Marga. They shared a great love for their animals, which included several dogs, cats, and birds. Together they loved entertaining friends, going out for dinners, walks on the beach, exploring St. Augustine, and traveling.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents Earline E Newman Paris and Clark V. Paris Sr. He is survived by his loving wife Marga Cole Paris and her extended Cole family; sister Barbara Paris Alldredge and her children and grandchildren along with the extended Paris family, and many dear friends.

A funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM before the service. Interment will be following the service in the Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
