Cindy Jayne Anders, 60

Cindy Jayne Anders, 60 of Middleburg, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. Mrs. Anders was a lifelong resident of the Jacksonville area and retired from the Duval County School Board after 36 years.  Cindy was very passionate about animal rescue and supported many of the local organizations that promoted animal rescue and safety.  Whether a dog, cat or even ducks, Cindy loved and felt a calling to take care of animals.  She also enjoyed flowers, plants and the beach.  She also cared for her family, grandmother, mother, brother and sisters.

Mrs. Anders is survived by her sisters, Robin F. Hayes and Sara L. Anders, brother, Mark S. Roulston, nephews, Scott and Chris, great nieces, Holly and Madeline, cousins, April Stewart, Kim, Kelly and Kristi Brush, foster parents, Eileen and Jerry Felton, foster sisters, Kim and Kara and foster brother, Kent.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2017 in Restlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Hobie Manning officiating.
