Charles “John” Hogan, III of Fleming Island died peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the age 80. John is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lisa Hogan, and their children Liane, Dean and Sean Hogan.

John was born in Passaic, NJ to the late Charles John and Margaret Dean Hogan. He served in the US Army before he began his career with First National Bank in Totowa, NJ. He continued his career with several banks as they merged before retiring as Senior Vice President with Wells Fargo.

Retirement gave John the opportunity to spend more time on hobbies including computer coding, data processing, and building computers and 3-D printers. As a devoted fan he had an intense knowledge of ice hockey and NASCAR, rarely missing a game or race.

John’s greatest joy in life was being with his family and he will always be in our hearts. He was a kind and caring man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 14, 2024 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.  A time to visit with the family will begin at 10:30 am until services begins on Saturday.
