Carolyn Geraldine Fitzgerald, 83

Carolyn Geraldine Fitzgerald, 83 of Fleming Island, FL passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023. She was born in Johnsonville, South Carolina to parents Ervin D. Eaddy and Nada Abrams Eaddy. Carolyn was very involved in her local church and enjoyed volunteering with the Clay County BASCA Mission. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Ordle Howard Fitzgerald; her parents, Ervin and Nada Eaddy and brothers, Neil Eaddy and Emmett Eaddy.

She is survived by her daughters, Gerry Fitzgerald Carr (Cliff) and Renee Fitzgerald Beard (Steve); sisters Lucile Eaddy and Sadie Cox; granddaughter, Samantha Galloway (David); 3 great-grandchildren and best- friend Nancy A. Vancourt.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Russell Haven of Rest Chapel. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00AM on Friday.
