Carol Yvonne Mesko, 74

Carol Yvonne Mesko, 74, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. Carol was born in Valdosta, Georgia to parents Clyde Smith and Blanche Roark Smith. She moved to north Florida with her parent as a young girl. She loved Jacksonville, including her favorite football team the Jaguars. She enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, she also loved animals especially her Yorkshire Terrier, Milo. Carol’s biggest passion in life was her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Blanche Smith, and her brothers, Paul Smith and Mike Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Mesko; brother, Tony Smith (Diane); Granddaughters, Alyssa Rankins (Willie) and Taylor Jolly; Great-grandchildren, Willie Rankins IV, Zaidyn Rankins and Legend Rankins.
