Byron R. “Ronny” North, 74

Byron R. “Ronny” North, 74 of St. Johns, FL passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018.  Ronny was born in Brooksville, FL and has lived in St. Johns since the age of 6 years old.  He served in the National Guard and retired from BellSouth after 27 years in 1991.  When his children were younger, he was involved with coaching as well as hunting and fishing.  Ronny enjoyed grilling and was known for his ribs.

Mr. North was preceded in death by his father, L.C. North and sister, Debby North and is survived by his wife of 50 years, Valarie North, children, Wade (Misty) North, Darren (Mary Lynn) North, and Kim (Kevin) Brown, mother, Betty North, brother, Sammy (Barbara) North, sister, Conny North, eight grandchildren Kaley (Dalton), Jaime-Lynn, Kate, Tommy, Lacie, Bailey, Kyndall, and Colby and one expected great grandchild, Nugget.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Decoy Baptist Church Cemetery, 671 Decoy Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043, with Rev. Hobie Manning officiating.
