Betty Sweat Boyles, 88

Betty Sweat Boyles, 88, of Middleburg, FL went home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2023.  She was at home, surrounded by her loved ones.  Betty was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 11, 1935 to the late Louie Ellis Swear and Rena Crawford Carson.  Betty was a homemaker and mother to many children other than her own.  She loved going to the mountains, was a wonderful cook and seamstress, and was loved by many.  Betty was a member of Clay Hill Baptist Church and loved the Lord.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Albert Jacob Boyles, Sr.  of Hygema House Movers, Inc.  She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Logan Kelly.   She was a loving mother to three children – daughter, Donna Wray (Tim); sons, Albert Jacob Boyles, Jr. (Renee) and Richard Mark Boyles (April).  Betty was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 6 great-greatgrandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters; Linda Dodgen and Helen Miller.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 11:00am at Clay Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Crews officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the funeral at 10:00am.  Burial will follow the funeral at Long Branch Cemetery.
