Betty Ann George Steffan, 94

Betty Ann George Steffan, 94 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 with her family by her side.  Betty was born in High Springs, FL to the late Thomas and Geneva George and remained in High Springs until moving to Jacksonville.  Over the years, Betty worked various jobs to include driving a school bus, working at a grocery store, and working at a nursing home, however, her favorite job was with her husband as the bookkeeper for their family-owned business Steffan Refrigeration (a business still operated by her family today).

Mrs. Steffan was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Steffan and son, Jimmy Clayton and is survived by her children, Alice Shelton, Sharon (Ron) Johnson, Nick (Kris) Steffan and Tommy Clayton, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren as well as several spouses of the grandchildren who she loved very much.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Riverside Memorial Park 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205 with Pastor Ron Baker officiating.  Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Wednesday evening at Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.
