Barbara Jean Clester, 77

Barbara Jean Clester, 77 of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019.   Mrs. Clester was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa to the late Irvin and Irma Chesling and moved to Muscatine, Iowa following high school.  While living in Muscatine, Barbara was a school bus driver for L&M School District and was also involved with the local chapter of Girl Scouts.  She enjoyed being with friends and making various crafts, but above all, she enjoyed being “White Hair Grandma” to all her grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Rolland Chesling and great granddaughter, Angel and is survived by her children, Travis (Margie) Clester, Jana (Keith) Metzger, and Mandy (Jordie) Beeding, brother, Howard (Carol) Chesling, four grandchildren, Brade, Kaylee, Breanna and Derek, and twelve great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Snowden officiating.
