AVCM James Roy “Jim” Morgan, Jr. USN (Ret.), 80 of Orange Park, Florida, passed away July 3, 2019. Mr. Morgan was born in Augusta, Georgia, joined the US Navy, was stationed in Florida in 1974 and moved to Orange Park, Florida 45 years ago. He served and retired from the US Navy after 30 years service and worked with Logistics Services International for an additional 15 years. Over the years, Jim was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lynn Morgan, children, Jim (Tammy) Morgan, III, Foy Morgan, Sandra (Marty) Winslow and Ronda (Keith) Padgett, three brothers, J.R., Charles, and John, sister, Liz, five grandchildren, Aschelle, Alek, Jason, Kaylynn and Jamison.
Graveside Services will be held 12:30 PM Friday, July 12, 2019 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors by the US Navy.
