Ashley Michelle Lewter, 42
Ashley Michelle Lewter, 42 of Fleming Island, FL passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021. Ashley was born in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Florida in 1981. She graduated from Orange Park High School and was employed as a mortgage broker for the past 20 years at various institutions to include ABN AMRO.
Ashley was a smiling, beautiful person that was generally the happiest in the room; yet was also humble and quiet with a real matter-of-fact attitude of right and wrong. She was a wonderful mother to her daughters and dearly loved her family and friends. On vacation, Ashley enjoyed visiting New Orleans and many other weekend trips. Playing cards and spoiling herself with visits to the Salon, were a couple things that brought additional joy to her life.
Ashley was preceded in death by her step sister, Charlie Anderson and is survived by her husband, Anthony McClain, daughters, Kaylie McClain and Kortni McClain, parents, Chris (Mike) Anderson, brother, Michael Anderson, sister, Amy Barker, step sister, Casie Kinsall, nieces, Britney and Breanna Barker and several extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Life with burial to follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 PM Thursday evening.
