Alfred Michael “Alfie” Phillips, 83
Alfred Michael “Alfie” Phillips, 83, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was born in New York City to the late Phillip Phillips and Ruth Finfer Phillips. Alfie’s career as a real estate broker took him many places throughout the United States, including New York, Miami Beach, New Jersey, California and Georgia, before settling in Florida 15 years ago. Before beginning his career in real estate, Alfie was a trader at the stock market. He was an avid tennis player in his younger years and enjoyed collecting coins. Alfie enjoyed living life and loved telling stories of his life to his friends and family. He had an adventurous soul, always taking his own path and making his own way. His great sense of humor and beautiful blue eyes will be remembered forever.
Alfie was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Ruth Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cathy Phillips; three daughters, Jennifer Carrillo, Jodi Englert (PJ) and Chelsea Mize (Steven); two brothers, Jeffery Phillips and Wayne Phillips; one sister, Ellen Rann; and grandchildren, including Pierce Englert, Shaughnessy Englert, Joseph Englert, and Brayden Mize. As well as his nieces and nephews from California to New York. May he always have sunshine on a cloudy day.
