Patricia Wager Baughn, 63, of Orange Park, FL, passed away early on Saturday morning, August 17, 2024. Pat was born in Jacksonville, FL, to parents Allen Wager and Doris Everett. She spent most of her life in the Jacksonville area, except for a short time in California and several years in Munford, Tennessee. She was raised in Green Cove Springs and graduated from Clay High School in 1978. Pat also took one college course in interior design. She worked as a server and assistant manager at Quincy’s Steakhouse in Jacksonville. She also worked with her mother at D’s Custom Drapery & Needle Arts in Orange Park for a number of years. Pat had recently completed her 30th year at Walmart in the department manager position. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, and playing putt-putt golf. She loved raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. She rarely missed her grandchildren’s ballgames or their piano recitals. Pat enjoyed the beach and visiting different lighthouses. She took many vacations with her husband and went on shopping sprees with her mother, sisters, and daughter.

Pat was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jesse and Ruby Everett; paternal grandparents, Reid and Reba Wager; brother, Ricky Wager; and nephew, Timmy Wager.

She is survived by her parents, Doris and Allen Wager; husband of almost 44 years, Lawrence Baughn; daughter, Sheri Arnold (J.); son, Christopher Baughn (Stephanie); sisters, Annette Modesitt (Don) and Lisa Harsey (David); and grandchildren, Mara-Jade, Liam, and Penelope Arnold.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 22, 2024, in the chapel of Russell Haven of Rest, with Pastor Justin McKitterick officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32218) . A time of visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Thursday prior to services.
