Cecil Franklin Mullins, 76 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, August 12, 2024. Frank was born in Jacksonville, FL to parents Dorothy Hemmingway and Earl Mullins. He spent most of his life in Jacksonville, before moving to Lake Asbury in Green Cove Springs, Florida, with his wife and children. Frank served in the United States Army, with two tours in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart for his sacrifice. He continued his career in Sales, before retiring to enjoy time with his wife and family. He loved spending time with his loving wife Aloma, especially on cruises and while fishing at Bully Lake. He was also a dedicated Florida Gators football fan, only cheering for “Roll Tide” while his grandson attended the University of Alabama. Frank was a natural with plants, he had a green thumb and a heart of gold, but above everything, He cherished his family and his time with them the most.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Hemmingway and Earl Mullins, and sisters, JoAnne Davis, and Gayla Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Aloma Gurley Mullins; daughters, Lisa Alexander (Baylor) and Jennifer Spenner; sister, Teresa Robertson (Jim); grandchildren, Hunter Alexander (Rachael), Madison Alexander, Holden Alexander, Emily Spenner, Haley Spenner, Evan Spenner; Great grandchildren, Rayleigh Spenner and Bailey Spenner.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2024, in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Patrick Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM Friday prior to services.
