Evelyn Lucille Brochmann Edwards

March 26, 1929 – June 23, 2024

Evelyn Lucille Brochmann Edwards went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 95 years old. She was reunited with the love of her life, high school sweetheart and husband of 65 years, Kenneth Edwards Sr.

She is survived by her 3 children: Letha (Pat) Murphy, Kenneth Edwards Jr., and Connie (Sam) Carpenter, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Middleburg, Florida and a dedicated Sunday school teacher for many years.  She was a member and master judge of the Jacksonville and Orange Park Garden Clubs and went on to be a founding member of the Middleburg Garden Club.  She combined her love of cooking and horticulture while owning a catering business and flower shop.

She loved The Lord and her family fiercely every day of her life. May the memories and laughter we shared keep us comforted until the day we are reunited with her again.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 27, 2024 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 10:30-11:00 AM prior to services.  Pastor Tim Martin will officiate.
