Patrick “Pat” Wayne Nix, 54

Patrick “Pat” Wayne Nix, 54, of Fleming Island, FL passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. Pat was born in Homestead, Florida to the late Jack R. and Monica Senecal Nix and remained in Homestead through his high school years, graduating in 1987. He had been a resident of Palatka for 20 years prior to moving to Fleming Island seven years ago. Throughout Pat’s life, he had been in retail sales for several stores such as Dillard’s, Kmart, and for a brief time in New York, Ames Department Store.

Good rock music was a passion for Pat and sitting at his drum set playing along was where he was truly his element. He also enjoyed Sci Fi movies and bled Orange and Blue as a true Gator fan. Pat was a kind, loving, and giving person and will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Pat was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Nix and sister-in-law, Aulaire Nix. He is survived by his brothers, Stephan (Janice) Nix, David (Cheryl) Nix, Richard (Joy) Nix and Kenneth Nix (Dean Millard), several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until services begin.
