Jason Martin, 49

Jason Lee Martin, 49 of Lake Asbury, FL went to be with the Lord on September 19th, 2023. He was born in Mableton, Georgia to his parents Dan and Lynn Martin. As a child, his parents moved them to Florida and have been residing since. Anyone who knew Jason knew how strong he was. He battled kidney disease for twenty long years but always lived life with a smile on his face. He cared so much for his family and friends, they were his entire world. His favorite place to be was the ocean with his feet in the sand and the salty breeze blowing in his face. He loved sitting on his porch, listening to Jimmy Buffett and smoking his cigars. He found his calling as an RN and he loved taking care of his patients. His sarcasm and humor made everyone in the room laugh. To have known him was a treasure. He was the best husband, son, dad, brother and pop pop and he will be dearly missed. He was a hero to many.

Jason was proceeded in death by his father, Dan Martin. He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Tamy Martin; his mother, Lynn Martin; his children, Ashlynn Martin, Evan Martin and Tyler Conley; his brother, Joel Martin; his sister-in-law, Tiffany Heath; his son-in-law, Dylan Martin; and his grandsons, Maverick Martin, Gary Wheeler and Benjamin Wheeler.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 27th at 10 am. Located at Russel Haven of Rest Cemetery. His immediate family ask that instead of flowers, we’ve chosen an ocean organization that we would like donations to be made in honor for his love of the ocean.
