Michael “Mike” Glenn Minor, 63, of Fleming Island, FL passed away Monday, January 2, 2023.  He was a native of Jacksonville, FL and born in 1959 to the late Palmer and Doris Minor.  Mike graduated from Paxon High School where he played football.  His career spanned 43 years at UPS where he recently retired.  Mike loved traveling and the outdoors.  Some of his favorite places to visit were the Suwanee River and Treasure Island.  He was always on the go and up for an adventure.  Being on the water and going out on the boat were also a favorite way to spend time for Mike.  He was a very sweet and kind man; always making friends with anyone he met.  Most of all, Mike was a wonderful husband and adored his wife, Dianne.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Dianne Minor; two sons, David Stratton and Dylan Patterson; one daughter, Christy Ferguson; and three grandchildren, Eric, Dominic, and Kingston.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10am in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest with Patrick Martin officiating.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior at 9am.
