Clarice Irma May Eldridge, 82 of Orange Park, Florida, formerly of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 in Orange Park, FL. She was born on August 26, 1940 to parents Donald Raymond May and Lula Mae Glass May.

Clarice was a 1958 graduate of Moultrie High School in Colquitt County, Ga.  She then attended and graduated in 1961 from Grady School of Nursing in Atlanta, Ga.  She was an RN for 49 years. She worked in hospitals in San Antonia, TX (for 6 years), Warner Robbins, Ga ( for 4 years), Wiesbaden Germany Military Base (for 4 years, Charleston, SC (for 4 years) and the 29 years she worked at Jacksonville Naval Hospital in the Maternal Infant Unit. She also worked with the Iron Lung and assisted with an actual open heart massage in her early years.

She was a member of West Jacksonville Baptist Church. She learned about antiques when in Germany and became an appraiser and dealer while in Orange Park.

Clarice was proceeded in death by her parents, Donald and Lula May; She is survived by her husband of 62 years (69 years of going together) Reasie Eldridge (CCHS 1956), her three sons, Donald L. Eldridge (Cathy), David P. Eldridge (Heather), Scott C. Eldridge (Janice), Nine grandchildren, Heather Schnellbacher, Donald L. Eldridge, Jr., Brandi Eldridge, John Eldridge, Savannah Eldridge, Keith Eldridge, Michael Eldridge, John Rice and Joy Parman; Nine great- grandchildren, Josh Longley, Aubree Longley, Leah Longley, Avery Schnellbacher, Ellie Schnellbacher, Audrey Parman, Sydney Parman and Kennedy Parman.
