Sereena Josephine Hernandez, 83

Sereena Josphine Hernandez,83,of Fleming Island, FL passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Sereena was born on June 14, 1938, Boston, Massachusetts to parents Frank Joseph Giuffre and Rose Lovetere Giuffre.

Sereena was a loving military wife to Jose Hernandez. Sereena lived in Florida for the past 30 plus years, she moved here with her husband after he retired from the U.S. Navy.

Sereena was well known for her great sense of humor and vibrant personality. Her passion for chocolate and shopping was well known. Sereena absolutely loved her dogs, dachshunds and poodles were her favorite. She loved to relax to her murder mysteries on the I.D. channel. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them, especially her children and grandchildren.

Sereena was preceded by her parents Frank Joseph Giuffre and Rose Lovetere Giuffre. She was married to Jose Hernandez. She had 2 children John Baer Jr. and Carrol Holman. She had 2 siblings Carl Giuffre and Frank R Giuffre. Sereena also had 2 grandchildren, Roshele Rogers and Eryc Rogers.

A Requiem Mass will be held at 10:30 am on February 8, 2022 with Father Sebastian Garcia officiating. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Highway 17 South, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
