Barbara Ann Dey, 65

Barbara Ann Dey, 65, of Keystone Heights, FL passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021.  She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Nick and Patricia Tinelli.  Barbara moved to the area in 1998 from North Carolina after her husband’s Navy career took them all over the United States, including Virginia, Maryland, California, Florida and North Carolina.  Her family was most important to her and her daughters were her best friends.  They always did everything together.  Her strength was the glue that held the family together as she would fight for you and with you with everything she had.  Barbara was the neighborhood mom and collector of people.  She enjoyed baking and doing crafts with her grandchildren as they were her whole world.  Christmas was her favorite time of year.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Patricia Tinelli.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, David Dey; three daughters, Valerie Faulkner (Mark), Lisa Dey, Becky Foster (Jason); son, John Daniel Bowden; two brothers, Nick Tinelli and Tony Tinelli; one sister, Pat Kuhn; 14 grandchildren, John Bowden (Kaitlyn), Justin Bowden, Autumn Bowden, Jason Bowden, Saige Meaker, Nickolas Hanson, Megan Rulevitch (Daniel), Michael Hanson, David Hanson, Alissa Matthews, Austin Matthews, Samantha Johns (Richard), Timothy Helton, and Katelyn Helton; and five great-grandchildren, John David Bowden, Rylan Bowden, Blakeleigh Meaker, Bradley Rulevitch and Kason Ruleveitch.
