David Jeffrey Laurie, 55

David Jeffrey Laurie, 55 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Davenport, Florida.  Mr. Laurie was born in New Castle, Indiana and spent most of his life in the Orlando area.  He worked in the IT departments of Sanford Airport and for the Tax Shop in Orlando.  He was of the Baptist Faith, loved fishing, snorkeling, the beach, and anything outdoors.

David was preceded in death by his father, Bernie C. Laurie and is survived by his children, Brandi Ann (Michael) Laurie and Jeffrey Scott Laurie, mother, Elaine Alligood, sister, Sherri Wattles, grandchildren, Jayden and Bentley, nephew James (Amanda) Buss and other extended family members.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home with his nephew, James Buss and Pastor Wayne Bergman officiating.
