Norman Joseph Secia, 78

Norman Joseph Secia, 78 of St. Augustine, FL passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Norman was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts and lived in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts until the Navy relocated him and his young family to Florida in 1969.

Norman lived in Clay County on and off throughout his life and 12 years ago finally settled here in North Florida and worked as a Parimutuel Teller at Best Bet Orange Park. Norm enjoyed what he did and it showed with the care and heart he had for his co-workers and customers. He loved watching all sports including golf, which he enjoyed playing semi-professionally as a young adult. In addition, he had a great love for animals and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents Anthony Secia and Jessie Mello Secia. He is survived by his daughters: Jana Jolly and Kim Secia; brothers, Ronald (Betsy) Secia and Craig (Belinda) Secia; 3 grandchildren, Kayla Kirkland, Brittany Jolly and Lindsay Jolly.
