Michael “Carlos” Jefferys, 46

Michael “Carlos” Jefferys, 46 of St. John’s passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021.  Mr. Jefferys was born in Pensacola, Florida and grew up in Spain as part of a military family.  Carlos himself served 10 years in the US Navy as an Electronic Technician 1^st Class (ET1) and was employed with Verizon as a RF Engineer for the past 9 years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs, loved soccer, fishing, being a ‘Great” dad and his new 2021 F150 truck.  Carlos will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Carlos is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jona Jefferys, son, Jordan, daughter, Amalia, mother, Maria, brothers, Paul (Pamala) and Daniel, nephew, Chase and niece Serena.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs with burial 9:30 am Monday, September 13, 2021 in Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors by the US Navy.  Pastor Anselmo “Sam” Castano will be officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 10-11:00 am prior to services.
