Brian Andrew Leckwold, 70

Brian Andrew Leckwold, 70 of Middleburg, FL passed away Friday, August 20, 2021.  Brian was born in Anchorage, AK to the late Harry and Barbara Leckwold and was the oldest of four children.   In 1969, he graduated from Palmer High School in AK and married Louise on January 5, 1973 in Brunswick, ME.  Mr. Leckwold retired from the US Navy in 1993 after 24 ½ years from NAS Jacksonville, FL and referred to himself as “Mr. President” because his birthday fell on Inauguration Day.  He loved spending time at the beach with his lovely wife, watching NCIS, and attending Jacksonville Jaguar games with his children.

Mr. Leckwold was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy and is survived by his wife of 48 years Louise Leckwold, children, Amie Leckwold, Shon (Christina) Leckwold, Keith (Brandi) Leckwold, and Chad (Stephanie) Leckwold, brother, David, sister, Laurie, four grandchildren, Hailey, Rylan, Ava, and Hazel, seven granddogs, Molly, Simon, Luna, Lilly, Bella, Emma and Brewski, two grandkitties, CAT and Sassy and lastly but certainly not the least, his dog Kasey.
