Robert Frederick Arnold, 79

On Sunday, August 15th, 2021, Robert (Bob) Frederick Arnold, loving husband, and father of three children, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 79.

Bob was born on February 9, 1942 in Forks, WA to Melvin (Bob) and Barbara Arnold. He was raised along with two sisters, Peggy and Cynthia in Port Angeles, WA. Hunting, fishing, and hiking were among his favorite pastimes. In 1959 Bob joined the US Navy and served for 9 years. Following his time in the U.S. Navy, Bob took up truck driving on the east coast as his employment. On September 9th, 1972, he married Linda May Arnold of Yorkshire, NY. They moved back to Port Angeles, WA in 1973 where they raised two sons, Bob Jr., and Dan, and one daughter, Elizabeth. Bob worked at the Crown Zellerbach paper mill in Port Angeles for many years. In 1988 Bob and his family moved to Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, and attended Prairie Bible College, where he earned a Bachelor of Ministries and an Associates in Religious Studies. Upon finishing his education at the age of 51, he and his family took up residence in Middleburg, FL. Bob returned to his driving profession and became an “owner operator” for several years. Bob loved driving and telling stories about it! In 2008 Bob became a driver instructor for Florida State College at Jacksonville. Bob began having health issues in 2016 and no longer was able to drive. He continued instructing drivers for the next several years with Nextgen Driver Training teaching by way of simulator instruction. Bob was a faithful member of Christian Family Chapel in Jacksonville, FL where he served as an usher since 1988, He loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart. He shared his faith wherever and whenever he could.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Bob and mother, Barbara. He is survived by his wife Linda, his three children Robert Jr., Elizabeth, and Dan, his ten grandchildren, Jasmine, Logan and Lawson Baldwin, Kelly, Robert III, David, Julia, Katherine, Hannah and Elizabeth Arnold, and his sisters Peggy Cress and Cynthia Stratford.
