George E. Kessler, 70

George Emmette Kessler, 70, of Middleburg, FL passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021.  George was born in Baldwin, FL to the late Alan and Bernice Kessler and lived in the Jacksonville area his whole life.  He was a framing contractor for over 50 years and worked all over Northeast Florida with his own companies, K & G Construction and Gator Framing, as well as for many other contractors.  He liked deep sea fishing and was a huge Florida Gators fan and enjoyed watching them play football.  George also loved his scratch off tickets and playing poker.  On family cruises, you could find him in the casino at the poker tables.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Bernice Kessler; as well as his wife, Deborah Murray Kessler.  He is survived by his son, Emmette Kessler (Kayleigh); his daughter, Ada Kessler; one brother, Grover Kessler; and two sisters, Mary Jeffers and Marcia Pitts.
