Beatrice “Evelyn” Caves, age 57, passed away August 5, 2021. Evelyn was born on November 7, 1963 in Jacksonville, FL. Evelyn was one of three children and was preceded in death by her mother Betty Powers, father Jerry Powers, brother Lloyd Powers and her sister Melissa Powers. Evelyn fell in love with Arvis Wayne Caves and they were married in 1983. Evelyn was a loving mother of 2 children, Ashley Merryman (Billy) and Ryan Caves (Tanya) as well as an amazing guardian to her nephew Conner Powers. She was also a wonderful Noni to 6 magnificent grandchildren: Connor, Cadence, Cillian, Carrigan, Constance and Colson.

For 24 years Evelyn took pride in her career as a Clay County school bus driver. She loved and cared for every child that rode on her bus. Additionally, she enjoyed trips to the beach, loved sunsets and traveling, and most of all, she cherished the moments she spent with her family.

A time of Visitation and Remembering will be from 11-1:00 pm Saturday August 14, 2021 at Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.
