Alice Faye Oldano, 83

Alice Faye Oldano, 83 of Keystone Heights, FL passed away Friday January 15, 2021.  Alice was born to the late Virgil and Marie Bond Thomas in Georgetown, South Carolina and moved to Clay County over 40 years ago.   After growing up in Jacksonville, She worked various jobs to include Ryder Trucking, University Hospital, and FCCJ, but felt her true calling was working with the Department of Justice in Family Mediation.  She was a past two term president of Woman’s Club of Jacksonville (Riverside), enjoyed traveling, attended St. Catherine Catholic Church, and loved being a grandma.

Mrs. Oldano was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Oldano, son, Bruce C. Oliver, Jr.,  and grandson Alex Oldano and is survived by her daughter, Susan (Edward) Shancey, sister, Florence Young, and seven grandchildren, Alicia, Jackie, Sam, Shannon, Amber, Emily and Tyler.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Pastor Rob Hamm officiating.  Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin at noon-1:00 PM prior to services.
