Steven Hill Gibbert, 61

Steven Hill Gibbert, 61, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Saturday, November, 28, 2020.  Steven was born in St. Gallen, Switzerland on October 25, 1959 to the late Leroy and Nina Gibbert.  He graduated from Orange Park High School, FCCJ, and attended the University of Florida.  Steven started his career in the jewelry business in 1985 when he opened his company, SCG International, as a diamond importer.  He later opened his own store, Gold Hills Jewelry, which he operated for the past ten years.  Fishing, football, food and family were Steven’s favorite things.  Colleen’s family was his family.  Steven was a black belt in karate and enjoyed sharing the sport with his son, Kevin.

Steven is survived by his wife of 32 years, Colleen (Gurney) Gibbert.  He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Michael Horton.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1:00pm at Magnolia Cemetery, 1040 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park, FL 32073.
