Jackie R. “Rusty” Tomlin, 73

Jackie R. “Rusty” Tomlin, 73 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, March 9, 2020.  Mr. Tomlin was born in Illinois and raised in Missouri.  He moved to Green Cove Springs 33 years ago from Kentucky where he was an iron worker.  Since moving to Green Cove Springs, he continued working as an iron worker for Joe McDonald for 25 years.  Rusty loved going up on the steel and wished he could do it again.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and will be missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Tomlin is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sheila Tomlin, children, Talley Tomlin, Joie Gail Green, Christina Tomlin and Julia Tomlin, mother, Joan Tomlin, three sisters, Janet Sue, Doris , and Molly and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a family home on a later date.
