Charles M. McGhee, 89

Charles M. McGhee, 89 of Hibernia, FL passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on Wednesday evening, May 30, 2018.  He was surrounded by his wife of 39 years, Connie McGhee, his daughters, Gabrielle McGhee, Ronda Yancey, and Traci Johns, and his son-in-law David McCallister.  Charles is also survived by a brother, Alan McGhee of North Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eunice McGhee, step-mother, Louise, sister, Inez, and brother, Barry.

Before earning an accounting degree from University of Florida, Charles proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp for 10 years.  He then managed several businesses before finally retiring as a franchise owner.  Charles loved nature, handball, painting, and was a prolific artist during the prime of his life.

Mr. McGhee’s family will be celebrating Charles’ life privately on Father’s Day.
