Walter Theodore Bramlitt, 72

Walter Theodore Bramlitt, 72 of Screven, GA passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016. Mr. Bramlitt was a native of Jacksonville and moved to Screven, GA 23 years ago from Crescent City, FL. Throughout Walter’s life, he worked as a manager for a ranch, in construction with Acousti Engineering of Jacksonville for 20 years and retired as a deputy for the Wayne County Sheriff Office. He enjoyed hunting, fishing his dogs and horses and was a strong willed man who could use his talents in completing any tasks set before him; a true “Jack of all trades”.

Mr. Bramlitt was preceded in death by his son, Walter Keith Bramlitt and is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Bramlitt, children, Elaine Faye Bramlitt, Michael Eugene McCarthy, Steven Christopher (Terrah) Pugh, Carolyn Elizabeth (Tony) Weiler, and Jennifer Diane (Chris) Harper, two brothers, Randy (Karen) Bramlitt and David (Elizabeth) Bramlitt, sister, Renee (Jack) Pappy, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Gravely Hill Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL with Pastor Greg Combs officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
