Antoinette “Toni” Woods, 88

Antoinette “Toni” Woods was a devout Catholic who was dedicated to her faith and the Lord. She never missed a mass and was sure to pray the rosary every morning and every night. She also prayed for her family from her siblings when they were living to her great grandchildren, each by name.

She was strong-willed, so independent and a true fighter. She lived 88 years and never stopped going. Her home was always immaculate and she took such good care of her garden. She also cared dearly for her dogs, Gracie and Solee, who kept her connected to her late daughter, Carolyn.

She was loved by so, so many, especially her granddaughters, Sara Noel and Kaycie, who loved spending time with her and eating her authentic Italian cooking. She will truly be missed but she is now at peace and surrounded by so many loved ones who went before her.

Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Woods, daughter, Carolyn Woods, and great grandson, Roc. She is survived by her children, Frank (Leslie) Woods, Lee (Betsy Harris) Woods, five grandchildren, Kaycie, Andy, Jocelyn, Summer and Sara Noel, seven great grandchildren, Rex, Tyson, Katherine, Mya, Will, Smith and Garrett, and a former daughter-in-law, Alana Woods.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, August 25, 2017 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Donal Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, Jacksonville, FL.  Visitation with the family will be from 9:30 -10:30 AM prior to services.
