Juanita Flynn Brown, 92

Juanita Flynn Brown, 92 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Friday, June 30, 2017. Mrs. Flynn moved to Green Cove Springs in 2009 from Rantoul, Illinois where she was very active in the Moose Lodge and where she retired as a waitress at People’s Restaurant after many years.  She was the wife for 63 years to the late Charles G. Brown who served his country as a veteran.  She enjoyed making a house a home and spending time with her family and dogs.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her children, Bill (Nancy) Brown and Carolyn Sue Brown, four grandchildren, Carl (Heather) Brown,  Bryon Brown, Cyndi Cardenas and Margaret Simpson two great granddaughters Carly and Ava, and several nieces and nephews in Arizona.

Visitation with the family will be from 3-5:00 PM Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at the graveside in Danville National Cemetery in Danville, Illinois on Friday, July 7, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the donor’s choice of Animal Shelter or Animal Rescue Organizations.
